Individual therapy


When you feel low or anxious for a long time or feel left alone with your difficulties, attending cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) will help you to overcome the difficulties you are experiencing, especially when you feel that your family or friends are not able to help you.

Poradnia offers you a safe space to talk in confidence, even if you feel uncomfortable, sad or angry about things that bother you. The therapist's role is to help you make sense of your difficulties, and find out how they affect the way you think, what you do and how you feel.

Poradnia also offers the treatment of post-traumatic stress (PTSD), using effective, evidence-based method called Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). 

What you can expect from therapy sessions:

  • empowering atmosphere, focus on your strengths rather than weaknesses
  • supportive and honest space: being listened to without being judged

  • being supported in making important life decisions

If face-to-face sessions are not possible, Poradnia also provides therapeutic sessions over Skype.
